NOTICE: WINDEMERE TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS:

The zoning office is open as of  April 11, 2014. The hours for the season are Friday & Saturdays from 8:00a.m to noon or by appointment. You can make appointments by phone (218-391-9826) or By E-mail (windemeretwp@frontiernet.net).

The Windemere Township Planning Commission meets the second Tuesday of the month (Apr.8, June 10, Aug 12, and Oct 14) at 7:00p.m at the township hall, (located at 91546 Military Rd. a.k.a. County Rd. 50). The Planning commission meeting are open to the public, this is a meeting for you to bring up changes that you would like to see in the ordinance.

Brush & Leaf Day are the third Saturday of the Month starting in April thur October 2014. Hours are 10:00a.m to 1:00p.m. This is held at the gravel pit, witch is next to the airport.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That the Board of Appeal and Equalization of the Township of Windemere will meet at the Windemere Town Hall at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday the 9th day of April, 2014 for the purpose of reviewing and correcting the assessment of said Township for the year 2014.  All persons considering themselves aggrieved by said assessment, or who wish to complain that the property of another is assessed too low, are hereby notified to appear at said meeting, and show cause of having such assessment corrected.
No complaint that another person is assessed too low will be acted upon until the person so assessed, or his/her agent, shall have been notified of such complaint.

NOTICE: WINDEMERE TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS:

The zoning office will be closed for the winter season beginning October 12, 2013 and reopening April 11, 2014.  If you have any questions concerning zoning issues in the township during this time, contact Zoning Administrators Terry Schumann (218-391-9826).  For any road maintenance issues, contact Road Supervisor Mike Buetow (218-380-0135).  You may also leave a message at the Town Hall (218-372-4003) and send E-mail to Windemeretwp@frontiernet.net also you can go the web site at windemeretownship.com. Have a great winter and will see you in the spring.

The Windemere Township Board Meetings are held the first Thursday of every month 6:30p.m. at the Windemere Town Hall located at 91546 County Road 50, Sturgeon Lake, Minnesota.
