The spring snowstorm we experienced this week made it very challenging to remove the snow from the Township roads. The gravel road beds and the shoulders are thawed. The results of this will be as follows:
Asphalt roads will experince water puddles because the snow was not removed from the shoulders.
Gravel roads will be rough, muddy, and puddles of water will also be present for the same reasons.
We understand the frustrations and want to resolve any issues as soon as possilbe. The roads will need to dry up and once they do, the contractors will be out to maintain the roads accordingly. As always, please drive for the conditions and with caution.
